REGULAR MEETING

Planning Committee Meeting Minutes

August 25, 2025 @ 6:30 PM

Member's present: PARRISH WRIGHT, DOROTHY FORNEY, JEFF GENTRY, WINTON YOUNG, ELIZABETH BOLES, BRYAN COONS, AUSTIN SMITH, & JENNIFER RITTER

Those Absent – JERRY RHOTON, MARK POINDEXTER

Chairman – Parrish Wright calls meeting to order

NOTARIES – Went over the Notaries, none on the agenda

MOTIONS – Parrish went over current motions

RESOLUTIONS

-           Resolution 1 was discussed. Dale stated Cassie Haney was the only one so far that has put in for Judicial Commissioner. Everyone discussed that she was doing a good job with no complaints.

-          Resolution 2 everyone looked over the various boards and committees and no change.

-          Resolution 3 was discussed. Winton said he spoke with Jason Browning since Pleasant Hill was a county road. Jason was ok with it.

-          Resolution 4 and 5 was discussed together. Everyone was ok with the speed limit changing on North Fork Road and Crabtree Creek Road

-          Liz Boles went back to Resolution 2 and questioned why she wasn’t on any of the committees. Chairman said he would add her on to some if she would like to be added to any.

-          Park board committee was discussed. Dorothy Forney stated she would get Donna Hamilton a correct list.

-          Winton Young stated that Matt Craighead was off the Library board and he was replaced with Joy Mclearan.

A motion was made to adjourn by 1st Parrish Wright, Bryan Coons 2nd the motion. Motion carried.

Mayor Reagan reminded everyone of the meeting next Tuesday Sept. 2nd.
